Petra came into our lives when he was just five weeks old, abandoned in a parking lot and left to fend for himself. When we found him, he was trying to befriend a husky who, unfortunately, saw him as prey. We brought Petra home, and he immediately bonded with our family, especially our pitbull JJ, whom he trusted from the very start. That first night, Petra fell asleep on JJ’s pillow, holding her face, and from then on, he became an inseparable part of our lives.

Now, six years later, Petra has just celebrated his sixth birthday. Sadly, on November 29th, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Since then, we’ve been doing everything we can to treat his disease and keep him comfortable. Petra now has a cardiologist looking after him, but the expenses for his care, medications, and ongoing vet visits are building up faster than we can manage.
