My dear friends and family and every good-hearted individual!

My name is Myah Bellas. My sister, Petra has been diagnosed with a brain tumor which would ultimately end up in her sadly losing her life. The tumor is directly affecting her optic nerve which has lead to a permanent loss of vision in her right eye. Additionally she has tremendous swelling in her brain causing occasional seizures.

I find strength in Petra’s courage and fortitude; however, this experience has wreaked havoc in our emotional and financial spheres. The combined estimated costs of specialised medical care including consultations with expert neurologists, specialised treatment, advanced imaging, surgical operation and tailored rehabilitation post surgery is in excess of $35,000.
