Well, this isn’t how we wanted to start 2026.

In the early morning of February 4th, our beloved bar had a fire. While we are so grateful to report no injuries, we’re devastated by this.

For the last 8 years, Petoskeys has served as Fremonts go-to sports bar, home away from home for Midwest transplants, and more than anything, as a place that feels like family amongst regulars. We’re dedicated to continuing to be that place—but we need help.

We currently don’t have a timeline for when we can expect to reopen, and we’ll be posting updates as repairs continue. During this time, our staff will be without their regular income. We’ve created this GoFundMe to support supplement staff income as well as repairs during this time.

Asking for help is never easy, but

we are so incredibly grateful to all of the love we’ve received from the community over the years, whether we see you daily, or you’ve just found us.

We can’t wait to come back as a team, and see you all again.
