Help Petit Loup Ceramics grow!

Hello, my name is Makeda! I am the owner/operator of Petit Loup Ceramics.

Like so many, I lost my day job due to covid. During this time, however, I was able to set up a very basic pottery studio in my home. I'm so grateful that I was able to do this as these past couple years have been so hard for so many.

My goal over the next few months is to upgrade my studio so that I can streamline my business, make my space suitable for teaching, and begin taking on students. (This would include painting, building partition walls, replacing lights, setting up new plumbing, acquiring the necessary licensing/insurance, and buying supplies.)

I miss the personal connection and professional satisfaction of teaching and want to get back to it as soon as possible. I also want to represent my craft as a black maker in a predominantly white community and have the ability to increase access to art for marginalized students in my area.
