I wanted to update the main fundraiser page to say thank you to all the lovely folks who have donated and helped me bravely undergo the necessary surgery, and the tedious process of correctly fitting a full upper denture, and a significant lower partial denture (the two canine teeth on the bottom are still my own) It’s been months since we began fundraising, and at the same time scheduling the extractions, and appointments for the dentist to take impressions of my bite (pre-surgical extractions, and post surgical extractions). The first lower partial broke on day one, so we had to do another impression and send that to the lab. Now here we are. We’ve raised over $8,500 and I now have a full upper denture that fits well, and a lower partial that, we’re still making adjustments to to get it to fit better. For that I am beyond grateful. I feel like I owe a cosmic debt to the universe for the way this all worked out!

I am still going to leave the GoFundMe link open, because I haven’t even tried to calculate in the costs of gas driving back and forth to the dentist as many times as I have. Nor have I calculated all the Muscle Milk Protein Shakes (Vanilla Creme) and jars of Sunflower seed butter - not to mention (but here I am mentioning) the Trader Joe’s Dairy Free Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream!
