Help Peterson's family in Haiti

I'm Ana and my longtime family friend Peterson and his family from Haiti are in trouble. His son is with his wife in an area of Port-au-Prince run by gangs and they can't leave. They haven't seen him in 4 months. They are without power and rice is insanely expensive and only getting worse. The cost to drive out of the city via checkpoint is $500 let alone the price to help them not starve.

I'm trying to wrangle up some funds to help out so any little bit you guys might be able to pitch would be appreciated.
