Help Peter's Family During This Crisis
Peter was in a accident yesterday and has a brain injury, skull fracture, and a SAH (subarachnoid hemorrhage). My husband and I have not slept since yesterday after receiving the call from the hospital. It's been a real nightmare because Peter was on leave, so this accident didn't occur on a military base. He is currently at a civilian hospital.
The interpreter for the doctor did state that he suggested Peter shouldn't be moved because of bubbles in the bloodstream in his brain; if he needs to be moved, he shouldn't fly, and we need to make sure the military hospital has a good neurologist .
As many of you know, it's very hard to ask for help when we need it. My hubby and I are so grateful to have such supportive loved ones who are always willing to lend a hand. Recently, a few amazing individuals reached out to offer their assistance with our upcoming trip to visit our son Peter at the hospital in Tokyo. A dear friend of mine reminded me that it's okay to accept help, and that we don't have to face every challenge on our own. She encouraged me to let others support us during this difficult time, and to focus on getting through this emergency trip without added financial stress. So, we're humbly asking for help with just a few essential expenses - hotel room, food, and transportation.
Please keep praying for our Peter our Army son and if you are not able to give we understand completely. Your love and concern for us is enough.
