Help Peter with the unexpected loss of his Partner, Tim

This is to raise funds for one of my best pals, Peter. He is in an emergency situation and could use some assistance from the community. His partner of 27+ years, Tim, passed away on Thursday, 9/19/24, unexpectedly. This has left Peter in a bind, needing to come up with $1300 for Tim's cremation, as well as the full rent and utility bills due in a matter of days. Peter is on a very limited income and can't work. He is waiting to hear back from his caseworker on possible assistance, but it will take time before getting an answer if there's any funding available.

I'm asking for you to help me pull this burden off of him and allow him to grieve the loss of Tim without the stress of not knowing when he can afford to bring Tim back home where he belongs,or how long he'll have a roof over his head.

In the long term, we are hoping to get him moved to another location closer to us, in order to help him out with his needs, doctor visits, grocery shopping, etc., as Peter can't drive.

To sum up the amounts:

$1300 - Tim's cremation, urn

$1300 - October rent

$400 - Utilities/phone/etc.

This will provide immediate relief as we focus on the long-term parts, his grief and moving him closer; he's currently 3 hours away from us.

Any amount is appreciated; small amounts add up!

Please help me do this for Peter & Tim.

I will give updates as I get more info. If he does get any assistance, any amount left from this fundraiser will go to his move.
