My name is Pierre, and I am seeking funding to start my 3D printing business. I am currently using a Cr10s v1 3D (That Died in early July RIP - It has been a Real Money pit) printer and have recently been asked to increase my printing capability. Since I cannot do this without more funding, I have started this campaign to raise money to Buy a New 3Dprinter and help secure my 3D printing business.
My objective for this campaign is to raise enough money to purchase a sturdier and more dependable 3D printer. I am Looking at the QIDI X-CF PRO.
This new 3D printer would increase profits by reducing Downtime due to maintenance and repair, Extending the Type of Filament we can use; adding Nylon and Carbon. Finally, aid the company's expansion into new markets because of the increased Profitability and Capabilities. Fundraising would also allow for various filament colors and a greater offering in filament types, as well as the purchase of necessary replacement components to keep the printers operational at peak efficiency.
My service offer:
- Hobbyist on-demand parts and complete models of cars, trains, drones, etc.
- Cosplay costume parts and Masks, Movie Props
- Tabletop Miniatures, including D&D figures, Dollhouse Furniture and More
- Toy Designers, Toy parts (New and for Repair), Special Tools, and other parts
- Provide 3D scanning and rendering services.
- Eventually, expanding to provide 3D printing services to companies doing fast prototyping or just needing a part to fix a machine. (This is when the capability to print Nylon and Carbon components comes into play)
- Start selling custom parts on websites such as Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Marketplace, Kijiji, etc.
- Custom Bust Statue (Cake Topper Decoration from Photo | Personalized 3D Portrait figurine Gifts for Mom Dad, Birthday Wedding Anniversary, and more)
- Print Personalized Phone Cases
- 3D Print Customized Trophies
The new printer will aid in producing more substantial items, such as flexible toys and large-scale puzzle boards. I can accommodate a more diverse customer base by looking for 3D models and prototypes. This new printer would allow me to create prints more consistently and save downtime and lost components. It is effectively reducing the cost of the product. Additionally, I will be able to get a 3D scanner, essentially introducing a new service to my customers.
A total of $10,000 will be needed for this project. The Cost Breakdown of $10,000 is as follows:
1. 3D Printer with fees and Tax $2745
2. Part and Consumable for the functioning of 3d printer $1681 with Tax
- Filaments of different Types and Colors
- Bed replacement sheet for printing
- Storage Box to keep Filament Dry and extend its Shelf life after opening.
- Other parts/Materials
3. Marketing, Ads, and Promotion $3074 with Tax
- Paid Ads Facebook, Google
- Free ads Marketplace, Kijiji
- Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook Content Posting
- Social Media Manager/Publicite/Marketing
4. Website creation With Payment Processing $2500 with Tax
- Domain
- Hosting
- Design and Implementations
- Software licenses
- Content creation
- If needed, Delivery Service.
The second stage of the project will include:
- Reinvesting one hundred percent of the profit back into the business
- When demand increases, purchase more 3D printers and their consumables (like Filament)
- Begin to seek out commercial clientele and alliances
- For on-time delivery and increased customer satisfaction, choose a subcontractor capable of managing intermittent orders of significant size
- Incorporate innovative Services Such as Laser Cutting and Laser Engraving
- Transform the company into a non-governmental organization
- 3d modeling design service
- Education and Hire
Giving Back to the Community:
I want to provide employment opportunities for those who have Autism. Part-time at first, and then full-time as the business develops and expands. Since I suffer from a mild type of Autism, I know that not everyone accepts differences in other human beings. Therefore, I want to recruit entirely or to the greatest extent feasible from this labor market sector and offer a decent standard of living with a competitive income.
