Help Peter Pan

Hey yall, I’m sorry to ask for money but please know I would only start one of these if absolutely necessary. Peter was hospitalized at the VCA last night due to hemorrhagicum gastroenteritis. He needs to stay at least 24 hours to stabilize him. We wanted to take him home today but the doctor said his red blood cells are high and his protein levels are low and they are getting lower… The doctors said if he comes home today he could die in his condition, however keeping him there will cost us about $6,000. Those that are close to us also know I have been very sick for the past couple weeks with an upper respiratory infection. I’m not one for begging but anyone that took the time to read this, please help us. Please share this with anyone you know that could help. Anything you can donate will be used to make sure Petey is back to usual self. He is the love of my life, he is my child and I cannot lose my baby.

UPDATE: 3/17 Peter has eaten!!! It was a small amount of kibble but he has not vomited and this is great news. He has to continue to stay in the hospital to continue to receive fluids and protein but we are hopeful of bring home home this evening as long as he continues to stay stable. The costs have increased because he has had to stay hospitalized for 36 hours now… but he’s alive and he’s improving.
