Right now, our family is facing the most critical moment of Peter’s life. Peter was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia as an infant and underwent the Kasai procedure at just 3 months old. We held onto hope, praying it would be enough — but over time, it became clear his liver is failing, and now a transplant is no longer optional. It’s urgent. His life-saving transplant is scheduled for April 9th. What makes this even more emotional is that his own mother will be donating a portion of her liver to save him. Two lives in surgery. One chance to give Peter a future. This moment has come faster than we ever imagined, and while we are incredibly grateful for this opportunity, the reality is overwhelming. We are preparing for a major, high-risk surgery for both Peter and his mom, extended hospital stays and recovery time, time completely away from work to care for Peter, and travel, lodging, and daily expenses during this process. Everything is happening at once, and our focus has to be on Peter — being there for him, supporting him, and getting him through this safely. We are asking for help so we don’t have to carry the weight of financial stress during the most important fight of his life. This isn’t just about getting through surgery… It’s about giving Peter the chance to grow up.

Funds will help cover medical-related expenses not covered by insurance, travel and hospital stays during the transplant, time away from work while caring for Peter and recovering from surgery, and basic living expenses so we can focus fully on Peter’s healing.
