We're reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend and neighbor, Peter Bernard, and his two young sons, who recently experienced an unimaginable loss.

On the evening of Sunday, August 24, Peter had just tucked his boys into bed and was preparing to turn in for the night himself when a sudden, loud bang drew his attention. Stepping outside to investigate, he was met with a terrifying sight—flames erupting from a neighboring yard. Within moments, the fire had spread to Peter’s home.

Thanks to quick thinking, Peter was able to get his sons and their beloved dog out safely—but tragically, the fire destroyed nearly everything else.

Peter is now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. While he works through the insurance process, we’ve created this fund to help with immediate essentials like food, clothing, and basic needs— especially during such a difficult time.
