On Sunday, September 26th, my brother Peter was T-boned by a truck while riding his new motorcycle. His bike was severed into two pieces, and he was thrown 30 feet. He sustained 13 fractures for which he has undergone 3 surgeries. His spine was torn— he is permanently paralyzed from the upper chest down.
His job as warehouse manager required that he be strong, fit, and ambulatory. Thus, he is now unemployed and cannot provide for his family. His rehabilitation is postponed until the numerous bones in his arm, hand, and fingers heal and become strong enough to lift himself from bed to wheelchair.
Peter is a US army veteran who served as an Arctic paratrooper in Alaska. He is now facing the toughest challenge of his life. He will have to find employment that isn’t hampered by his physical limitations —- and he doesn’t know how extensive those limitations will be.
Until he does find employment, he and his family need some financial support in order to avoid homelessness. I am hoping this GoFundMe page will bring some relief.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story, and God bless you for any donation.
