Hey yall, it’s Pete here, I’ve been working as an artist, night club manager, community leader, and more in Amsterdam for 5 years, I’ve helped many people start their own careers and further the artistic community in Amsterdam and always asking little to nothing in return, and now it has come time to seek some help from my community!

I’ve been threatened with deportation as well as have 2 hernias in my spine, which are requiring me to have exorbitant costs, including a 1450eu bill from DUO for not Integrating on time even though it was legally impossible for me to do so, because the IND invalidated my stay all the way back to 2021, and they knew that, and still decided to bill me, 1700eu Lawyer costs, 400eu medical costs at least, and I have been out of work for nearly 4 months due to debilitating back pain and leg paralysis causing me to be behind bills and rent.

My lawyer has assured me the IND is acting beside the law in many of their motivations for their decisions regarding me and my case, so I will continue to fight to stay here and pursuing every avenue I can because Amsterdam is the only place I call home, and they are threatening to remove me from it.
