Hi everyone!

I’ve been trying to live with complex illness (primarily heart disease) and the challenges that go with it for a while now , and not very successfully or gracefully. Lately I’ve been having trouble keeping up with expenses (rent,utilities, food, health insurance, medicine, and transportation to and from doctors and hospitals.)So we started this GoFundMe for me.

I currently am blessed to have a great living situation. I live in a nice two bedroom apartment with a fenced yard on the property of Louis Armstrong’s old house in Mar Vista , just feet away from the AA meeting hall where I got sober 43 years ago and beautiful Culver West Park surrounded by a dozen neighbors who I love and who look after me. I calculated how much I would need to make it through the next two years until my 80th birthday (while I don’t expect to live that long) and came up with the figure of $15,000. In the two weeks since we started this I’ve been blessed to receive $12,000 of the $15,000. So I thought I would share this page once more in hopes of reaching my goal.

i am already way overpaid in this life and feel grateful and blessed for the outpouring of love and help I have already received from nearly 100 of you.

I just thought I would share this one last time to see if I can receive the last $3000 to reach my goal.
