Help Pete as He Fights Necrotizing Fasciitis

A couple of weeks ago my Uncle Pete was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis, an extremely dangerous condition characterized by a flesh-eating bacterium that can quickly lead to death if not treated on time. He has undergone over 5 surgeries already in under 2 weeks to help keep this infection at bay, with potentially many more to come in the future, along with physical therapy and specialized wound care for the damage already done once he is released from the hospital.

This gofundme has been put together to help my Uncle Pete with the exorbitant medical bills and with rental assistance while he is out of work for the foreseeable future and unable to receive an income. He is beginning the process to receive disability, but that is a process that can take months to over a year. Any help would be a tremendous relief for our family—to take one less burden off of my Uncle as he focuses on fighting this illness and recovering.
