My name is Whitney and my Uncle Pete and Aunt Robin could use your help! Pete and Robin Hight have been married for 42 years and they have built a wonderful life together with 4 kids, Amanda, Andrew, April, and Alex. They also love spending time with their many grandkids! Robin has been battling a type of cancer found in bone marrow called Multiple Myeloma since 2013. After being in remission for 3 years, the numbers started to rise again in 2018. Since then, Robin has been following a chemo regimen that had her going in for treatments once a month. However this past December in 2021, doctors discovered that the cancer had become more aggressive and started a new treatment plan that has Robin going in once a week with a more intense treatment plan. Despite being devastated by this news, Robin remained strong and was ready to start the treatment plan and fight back! However, things came to a halt when Robin and her husband Pete tested positive for Covid in early January. Robin was admitted to the hospital for Covid pneumonia on Friday, January 14th. With oxygen levels dropping, Robin was moved to the intermediate care unit, interchanging between the bipap machine and heated high flow oxygen, which has kept her stable and maintained her oxygen levels. She has remained this way until today, January 31st. A new X-Ray has showed some worsening pneumonia in her right lung and her oxygen levels have been fluctuating. Doctors have started mentioning placing her on the ventilator if they cannot recover her oxygen levels. Right now Robin is stable, but in need of a miracle. Doctors are working on moving her to the ICU, so that she can get better care and more attention. Please donate if you can to help ease some of the financial burden. Most importantly, the only thing that Robin has asked for since being admitted to the hospital is for prayers. Please cover her and her family in prayers and pray for complete healing!
Thank you!
