Help Pete and Dawn Rebuild After Tornado

On Saturday, December 28th, a strong storm line raged across the Houston area. The Alvin area took a direct hit - and a tornado completely destroyed the trailer home of Pete and Dawn Gemmill. The home was rolled over. Pete was inside while it rolled, and had to dig himself out from under several appliances and crawl out a window to free himself and their dogs. He spent the afternoon at the ER being checked out & we are all so grateful that he appears to OK. That being said, the Gemmills lost everything in their home. They are going to need a LOT of help getting a place to live on their land and replacing the every day items that we all take for granted. Dawn works from home and her computer and everything she uses for work was in her home.

If you know them, you know that Pete and Dawn are always willing to lend a hand and always try to help out wherever they can. I know that if this disaster happened to me, they'd be at my door, ready to jump in and help.

I know that so many people in the area have suffered damage, but if you are able to help these people out, I know that they would really appreciate it. Every little bit helps.
