Help Pete and Cindy Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Yesterday, our dear friend and coworker Pete, along with his partner Cindy, suffered a devastating loss when their home was destroyed in the fire that tore through Chinese Camp. Thankfully, they and their dogs made it out safely, but they are now facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over from scratch.
If you know Pete, you know he is the first to show up when someone needs help. He’s the one who quietly supports others, always with kindness and without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to rally around him and Cindy in this incredibly difficult time.
We are asking for donations of any size to help them with immediate needs, housing, clothing, food, and unexpected expenses, as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Let’s show Pete and Cindy that they are not alone, and that the same love and support he’s always given to others is here for them now.

Update:
We wanted to share the most recent update from Pete and Cindy ❤️
Thankfully, their house itself was not destroyed, though it is still unknown what smoke or soot damage may be inside. Unfortunately, all of the outside fencing and structures were destroyed, and the surrounding property is completely devastated. All of their neighbors’ homes were lost as well, leaving their house as one of the very few still standing.
While it is a huge relief that the home is still there, Pete and Cindy face a long road ahead with cleanup, repairs, and restoring utilities, which may take weeks or even months before they can move back in.
Thank you so much to everyone who has already reached out, donated, and shared. Your love and support mean the world to them during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
