Help Needed For End of Life Costs
Hi. This is Dave. He’s a dedicated City of Wichita employee, a family man, and doting Dad to a rescued collection of sweet dogs and cats. He enjoys watching old movies and playing darts, and he gets genuine joy from picking out and wrapping gifts for birthdays and Christmas.
Dave was recently diagnosed with a small cell type of lung cancer that’s aggressively and rapidly spreading to multiple areas of his body. His team of medical professionals are doing all they can to fight the cancer and ease his pain. Dave and his wife of 20 years, Linda, live a modest life. Like many of us would be in the same situation, they’re scared. The next few months will be hectic, confusing, dominated by medical procedures, and, costly. Right now Dave, Linda, and their friends and family, are emptying coin jars and borrowing resources to make sure they can remain in their home and keep the basic bills paid. You can help. Every donation will help us fight back against cancer and the economic indignity that comes with it.
In his 64 years, Dave has helped rescue and provide a safe, loving home for many frightened and abandoned pets. This is our chance to put our arms around him and provide security in his time of need. Please donate whatever you can, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about my stepdad, Pet Daddy Dave.
