Help Perth Family - Grieving Loss of Young Mother

My name is Rikiesha Dimer and I am writing on behalf of my cousin (brother). On behalf of Allan Bennell Jnr, children Sandy and Legacy, extended family who are grieving the sad and unexpected loss of Adriana Rosbergen/Turner. Adriana was a beloved partner, daughter, aunty, niece and mother of 4 young children.

At 4am, on the morning of Friday 20th of January 2023, Adriana suffered a severe asthma attack (a respiratory condition she dealt with her whole life).

As a result of the attack Adriana became unresponsive and CPR (cardiopulmonary resucitation) was performed with the guidance of 000 telephone operators. An ambulance was called to the home and Adriana was urgently transported to Joondalup Hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital doctors found a weak pulse, Adriana was placed on a ventilator to assist with breathing, and it was decided that an emergency Caesarian needed to be performed. Adrianna gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Legacy Adrian Bennell, on the 20th of January, 2023.

Unfortunately, doctors later informed the family that Adriana’s brain had gone too long without oxygen and following tests they determined that she was no longer displaying any indication of brain activity.

The family was then faced with the difficult decision to turn off the ventilator. Adriana passed on the 25th of January, 2023.

Adriana leaves behind a devastated family, including four young children aged 8, 7, 1 and 6 days old. Family was everything to Adriana, she loved to spoil her nieces, nephews but her world revolved around her children who loved her dearly.

Sadly, Legacy was born 12 weeks premature and is now in the care of doctors and nurses in the neonatal intensive care unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Her partner Allan, aged 31, was only recently released from ICU a fortnight ago after he suffered from heart failure as a result of contracting the COVID-19 virus. He is now suffering the loss of his partner and is the sole parent to Sandy and Legacy.

We are seeking funds to assist with the cost of a funeral. Any remaining funds will be used to assist Adriana’s children with their needs. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
