It’s with a heavy heart that we humbly ask for your help during our family’s darkest hour.
At 4pm on March 10th, 2022 my little sister Persephone Bailey, headed to the gas station with the intent to return quickly. Over 24+ hours later, she would turn from a “missing person” into a beautiful young woman in critical care, literally, fighting for her life.
We learned that Percy had been in a head-on collision which caused significant + serious brain trauma, facial fractures, multiple broken bones, and the loss of her spleen. Due to the swelling & pressure on her brain, Doctor’s placed her in an induced medical coma.
Currently, there’s a ton of uncertainty around what her life will look like when the brain swelling goes down and she wakes up; from what functions she’ll have, to what additional surgeries and rehabilitation will be needed, along with how long her recovery process will be.
My sister is uninsured, making an already tragic situation that more overwhelming, for all of her loved ones. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help with uninsured medical expenses (every little bit helps), your thoughts & prayers, and if you could ‘SHARE’ this fundraiser with others.
