Hi, my name is Kelly and I’m fundraising for my brother Perry. All Perry wants for Christmas is his two front teeth — and a reason to smile again!

Perry is one of the kindest, sweet souls you could ever meet. Life hasn’t been easy for him. He’s currently on social assistance and living without stable housing in Edmonton. Despite all the daily challenges he faces, he still greets people with warmth and humour — even though he often hides his smile these days.

A few years ago, Perry lost his front tooth in an accident, and it’s taken a toll on his confidence and his ability to eat comfortably. He dreams of being able to smile again without shame — to laugh fully, to look people in the eye, and to feel like himself.

Dental care is expensive, and for someone living on social assistance, it’s out of reach. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Perry needs about $5000 to get his tooth replaced through the U of A Dental Student Program. It’s something that could help change his outlook on life and begin the journey of feeling worthy again. Through a regular dentist the cost is around $12,000.

This isn’t just about fixing teeth. It’s about restoring dignity, confidence, and hope. It’s about giving someone who’s been through so much a reason to smile again — literally.
