Perry County Humane Society Needs Your Support!

I’m raising money for a small animal shelter doing great things. As a former volunteer, I saw first hand the hard work it takes to keep the doors open and animals cared for every single day. Perry County Humane Society is located in DuQuoin, a very small rural town in southern that tries to pull as many stray cats and dogs as possible from the local pounds that are waiting to be euthanized.

The volunteers have worked to network with larger shelters to transport animals as far as Chicago to give them a better chance at being adopted. They have saved thousands and continue to put their heart and soul into helping but need help. The shelter needs support now more than ever due to a neighboring shelter closing its doors. There are more animals than safe places to go with them. They need help from all animal lovers to keep helping as many animals as possible. Even the smallest amounts help so please consider a donation. Seriously, even a few dollars if you can spare them helps!!
