- Hello, my name is Tami Urias. I am the sister and sister-in-law of Perry and Sue Nelson. As many of you know, their house burned down early Sunday morning. Having a house fire where there is nothing left but the clothes on your back can be extremely devastating; having it happen 4 days before Christmas is heart-wrenching. We have had an overwhelming amount of the community asking what they can do to help; they appreciate each and every one of you. So, we are setting up this GoFundMe to help them during this extremely difficult time. Many of you know Perry Nelson as the washer-dryer repairman, who has a heart of gold. Sue volunteered at Neighbor to Neighbor until last summer after taking a horrible fall and having to have neck surgery. Now, she is unable to drive because she cannot turn her neck. We are thankful that they escaped unharmed. Whatever you feel you can give to help them during this time would be very appreciated. They want to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
