Help a Proud Mom Cheer Her Daughter On at the Junior Olympics!

Hi, my name is Perrionte Hussey, and I’m the proud mom of Harmony Taylor, who has officially qualified for the 2025 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas (July 22 – August 2)! ‍♀️

Harmony has put in the hard work and dedication to earn her spot at this national event — and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Thankfully, her travel and event costs are fully covered, and she’s ready to run her heart out on the Junior Olympic stage.

But there’s just one challenge — I currently don’t have the resources to travel with her to Houston and be there in person to support her through this unforgettable experience. Due to having summers off for work and just getting married June 21st, 2025, I am unable to cover the travel expenses.

Why I’m Asking for Help

As her mother, I’ve been by Harmony’s side through practice, meets, every victory, and setback. I want to continue to show up for her — especially now. Being there to encourage her, calm her nerves, and cheer her on in person would mean the world to both of us. She has a wonderful support system between her dad and myself, and I would love to experience this in person with her!

I’m asking for your help to raise funds to cover my:

✈️ Travel to and from Houston

Lodging during the event

️ Meals and transportation

Other basic trip expenses

My goal is to raise $1,800, and any amount — no matter how big or small — would be deeply appreciated.
