Help Peregrine Stay Safe! Protect Trans Kids!

This fund will used to go towards legal bills, lost parental wages and support for Peregrine Berry.

With your support, I have been able to pay the lawyer that represents us, afford taking time off work to take Peregrine to therapy, leave work and pick her up at school when she is sick, and help her get clothes that feel identity affirming. There is a long ways to go, and I am so grateful that I have a community that is showing up for her. Per just turned 6 years old. She is struggling with having parenting time with her Dad, and not sure how to ask him again to use her pronouns without him getting mad. I would love for her to meet more trans kids and adults, and normalize her desire to respected and cared for.

Peregrine currently lives with her mom most of the time, but still has to go to her dad's house regularly and faces transphobia, intimidation and inconsistency. Her dad recently got arrested for driving while extremely drunk and passing out at the wheel, and with his other charges of sexual misconduct, it is urgent that Peregrine get the support she needs while her mom goes to family court to advocate on her behalf. Peregrine has already experienced significant trauma and as a Latinx trans girl, faces more barriers ahead.
