Percy, named after Percival de Rolo, is a four year old rescue cat that has been a source of comfort and emotional support for my friend ever since a coworker found him under a porch as a kitten. He is a sweet timid soul who wants nothing more in life to cuddle and sleep.
Recently, Percy was diagnosed with feline idiopathic cystitis, a painful and recurring condition that makes it difficult for him to urinate. While there is no cure, there are treatments and procedures that can manage the symptoms and prevent life-threatening complications. Unfortunately, the emergency vet visits and required surgery come with a hefty price tag.
My friend is doing everything possible to help Percy, but the financial burden is overwhelming—especially while trying to make ends meet. Percy means the world to them, and watching him suffer has been heartbreaking.
We’re asking for your help. Every donation will go directly toward Percy’s surgery, medications, and ongoing care to give him the best shot at a long, healthy life.
If you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much. Thank you so much for taking the time to read Percy’s story.
