Hi, my name is Katelyn McClenathan and I am Jenna (Bales) Mateer’s older sister. As many of you know, my nephew Percy was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this week. We are still in shock. He will be 2 in a few months and this sweet little boy and mom and dad need our help!

I am trying to raise funds in order to take the financial burden off my sister and her husband Zach as they begin this 2.5 year journey of treating Percy’s leukemia through the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Any funds raised will be used for their out of pocket medical costs, transportation costs, meals, supplies, and lost income etc. Zach will be returning to his full-time job next week, as he does not have FMLA through his employer yet (meaning he does not have paid leave he can take). Zach and Jenna also have a 1.5 month old at home, making this situation even more difficult to be going through. I will post more detailed info about Percy’s condition later today.
