Meet Pepper! We couldn’t ignore her eyes when we saw Pepper listed on the euthanasia list at a high volume kill shelter in Memphis where she was found abandoned with an embedded harness. We were able to transport her up to Wisconsin & she is safe! But her wounds are infected, her skin is terrible & she has a long road of healing a head of her. We immediately brought her in to our vet & have started her on medications to help with her mange, skin infection, harness embedment infection and are awaiting culture results before pursuing further treatment. Her surgical removal of the harness left large wounds that have opened up and become infected. Did I mention this girl is also heartworm positive? She is the sweetest little thing you’ll ever meet and deserves a chance! This poor girl has a long journey ahead of her and any help is greatly appreciated. Day one total: $662.22 Day two: $
