Update*** Finally got some good news!! Peppers labs are stable enough for us to opt for continuing her care at home (fluids + meds) We will pick her up later today (1/29)!! Seriously thank you for everyone who Donated!! We are going to leave the fund open if anyone is interested helping with the overall cost which ended up being $8,000.

Pepper has been undergoing treatment in the ICU since 1/25 for Acute kidney injury of currently unknown cause. After days of continuous IV fluids, we are seeing some improvements. It’s critical that she stays on fluids to flush out her kidneys until the labs come back down to a safe level.

We really hate to ask for this kind of support. There is never a convenient time for emergency vet bills, but we both aren’t receiving an income at this time. Nick is furloughed from his Job and I’m in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy. So at this point anything helps and we are so grateful ❤️
