Help Give Pepper a Peaceful Goodbye

Hi friends,

I never thought I’d be in a place where I’d need to ask for help like this, but life has brought me here. My sweet kitty, Pepper, has been by my side for 17 years. She’s been my constant companion through all of life’s ups and downs, and I want to give her the love and dignity she deserves in her final moments.

Sadly, she’s in late-stage kidney failure and is now on pain medication to keep her comfortable. I know her time is short, and I don’t want her to suffer. What I want most is to be able to provide her with a peaceful goodbye and a private cremation so I can keep her ashes with me.

Unfortunately, after a recent move back to Fort Collins, I don’t have the funds to cover these end-of-life costs. It’s incredibly humbling (and honestly embarrassing) to ask, but if you are able and feel moved to help, it would mean the world to me. Every little bit helps, and even sharing this would be such a gift.
