Hi my name is Jesse, and my cat Pepper went into Diabetic Keto Acidosis on December 10. He’s still in critical condition and has been in urgent care since then. Anyone who has ever met Pepper knows that he is the sweetest, funniest, dorkiest and most affectionate cat who has always brought smiles to my family and neighborhood. Pepper means the world to my family and I and his furry brothers Sake and JJ are looking forward to playing with him again. To be transparent, Pepper’s hospital bill has already accumulated to over $12,000 and we are doing everything we can to avoid putting Pepper into comfort care.
