Help Pepper Fight Cancer: Support Needed

My sister Dani has organized this Gofundme. I'm Jacob and my cat's name is Pepper. Please help us with Pepper's ongoing treatment.

What Happened

Pepper is my cat. She's one of the sweetest cats we've ever owned. We took Pepper into the vet because we knew she wasn't doing well. Pepper has been eating almost nothing and spending all her time under my bed, or my mom's couch. Recently, we took her to the vet and was devastated to find out that our wonderful cat has cancer. She has one kidney that's too big and one is too small. We went another vet to get a second opinion and they said they'd have to do a biopsy to know if it is cancer for sure. The good news is the fluids she received has helped revitalize her and now she is able to eat food again.

About Pepper

Pepper is a very sweet tiger stripped kitty. When she was well, she would spend most of her time running through rooms as fast as she could. Her favourite activity was zooming up and down the stairs at 5 in the morning. Pepper loves to sleep on my mom. When mom sleeping isn't an option she sleeps on my legs. Pepper loves sleeping on the edge of of beds. She'll sleep on my sister Katie's bed or mine (she's not too picky). Pepper also loves my mom's couch for the best naps. Big Bud, our black cat, is her favourite naptime companion.

Treatment

We aren't sure how much treatment is going to be needed for Pepper at this time. The doctor gave her liquids and gave her a basic checkup. We are still unsure how much money it's going to cost for Pepper's ongoing treatment. We do know that a full ultrasound is $450 and the bloodwork she would need is $238.75. In all it will cost 688.75 and that's just to get a diagnosis (and that's not including transportation or the fluids she needs to get). Fluids from a technician is $16.50 a treatment and it looks like she's going to need this at least twice a week.

We don't have a lot of money to spend on our fixed budget. Everyone in our household is disabled and we need to Uber to and from her appointments. A one way trip is $10-15 and we like to tip $5. We make sure to give the Uber driver a good tip every time, because we know how hard it is to make money as an Uber driver.

We need funding for Pepper's vet trips, ongoing care and transportation to the vet. Any little bit helps! We will keep you updated on any new developments.
