Help Pepe Heal: Support His Leg Amputation

For over 15 years, I have been volunteering for Rescue Purrfect in Bensalem, PA. Recently, there was a post on Facebook about an emaciated, injured cat behind Red House Bagel. I received two calls about this cat needing assistance and could not ignore the cry for help.

Once rescued, he was taken immediately to the vet, vaccinated, given pain medication, and wound care. During the evaluation of his injury, it was determined that his foot is dead and will need the leg to be amputated.

Weighing only 4 lbs at 8 months of age and injured, he is the most loving boy, thankful for the care and attention being provided. He is scheduled for amputation on Nov 7th, where he will also be neutered. We have named him Pepe, and he is absolutely the sweetest boy, fitting right into our home of misfit pets (2 blind cats, 1 three-legged cat, one CH cat, and a disabled dog).

When times are difficult for people, they are even harder for the rescue since donations are minimal and being used for the 100 cats/kittens already in rescue care.

I am hoping every person who reads this will donate one dollar to help Pepe so that he may find a loving forever home once recovered.
