Hi, This is Priti Gagneja and Salman Haq from Santa Barbara, California. We have family from Pakistan who are helping those struggling with one of the world’s deadliest floods. One third of the country is underwater which has cost the lives of thousands, and left uncountable amounts of people homeless and without food or drinking water since June of 2022.

The floods were caused by heavier than usual monsoon rains and melting glaciers that followed a severe heat wave, all of which are linked to climate change. It is heartbreaking to see the devastation. We are collecting money to aid people directly with food and clean water and to help them rebuild their lives.

We are taking this fundraising very seriously and very committed to getting this money where it is needed.The money will go to an organization called NANA (Nishtar Alumni of North America) and they are a trusted group from a well reputed government medical school providing direct relief. Salman Haq MD is an alumni of this medical school. NANA is working with Al Khidmat Foundation and proceeds will be transferred to Professor Ghulam Abbas.
