Organized by: Meziane Kacel a member of the Michignan Algerian community (Amazigh community of Michigan). Myself as well as most of the donnors relation to the people we are raising funds for, is that they are our hometown people hit by wildfires
As a Kabyle community of Michigan we are calling for this fundraising to help our brothers and sisters in Kabylie, impacted by the recent wildfires.
As you have seen during these past few days, wildfires have reached many cities and villages across Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia among them: Larba Nath Irathen, Beni Yenni, Ouacif, Akbil, Beni Douala, Imula, Iferhounen and many more...
We have seen a lot of people that lost their loved ones, and their properties, many homes have been burned animals died and people fleeing their villages to escape from torching fires.
Our support is for these families that are in need. Bring our modest contribution to ease the difficulty and pain of our brothers and sisters
The funds from this fundraising will be send to the people affected by the recent fires, and this will be done through a local non profit organization (Association Des Activités Des Jeunes IRED) that will be in charge to distribute the aid. (See down here for the organization facebook page.)
The funds will be spent in helping the impacted families by providing them with food, drinking water, medication, clothing & blankets, replace appliances, as well as help restore and rebuild damaged houses where needed.
Funds will be withdrawn to our organization "Amazigh Community Of Michigan" bank account by the organizer (Meziane Kacel) and will be transferred through bank wire transfer to the local non-profit-organization bank account.
