Help Penny See Again: Cataract Surgery Fund
Donation protected
When my dad passed away in 2022, I was only 19. On top of grieving, I suddenly had to take on the responsibility of caring for his dog, Penny. She had been his best friend, and I knew there was no way I could let her go—I had to take care of her, just like he would have wanted.
Now, at just six years old, Penny is losing her vision due to cataracts. If she gets surgery immediately, her eyesight can be fully restored. But if it’s put off, she could go completely blind. She still has so much life ahead of her, and it breaks my heart to think of her losing the ability to see the world around her.
The surgery costs $6,500 in total, and I’ve worked hard to save $3,500 on my own. My goal is to raise at least half of the remaining amount so Penny can get the care she needs as soon as possible. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world—to me and to Penny. If you can’t donate, even just sharing this would help more than you know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your kindness and support mean more than I can ever put into words. ❤️
