Penny Lane had an Adeno Carcinoma removed from her small intestine after finding she was anemic. She was fine for a few days when we brought her home until Sunday the 25th We needed to take her back after she showed increased listlessness and not eating. Tests done showed she had some fluid build-up in her abdomen and that she now has severe pancreatitis. They are going to do an Upper GI to see if she had a leak in the surgical site or if her symptoms are purely from the pancreatitis. Either way, after the UGI, we're going to bring her home so she can be at peace with us.
These funds will help defray the costs of her surgery, lab, x-rays, etc. which have totaled over $10,000. Penny Lane has been our 'baby' for over ten years and means so much to Andrew and me. We know she means a lot to you, too, seeing her happy face on FaceBook.
Any funds you can help us with will so much appreciated!
