Penny is an 8 year old (puppy in our eyes) dog who has brought joy and comfort to Maddie and her family since being adopted from a shelter. When Maddie first met Penny, she was a timid little girl and scared pup, but with love and patience, Penny blossomed into a gentle companion who adores people and other animals. Their bond is undeniable, and they truly came into each other's lives at the perfect moment, offering support and companionship when it was needed most.

Maddie is known for her kindness and generosity she is always the first to help any human or animal in need. She has been there for friends, family, and even strangers, offering support whenever it’s needed. Now, Maddie is facing a challenge and she needs our help and support to care for her best friend, Penny.

Recently, Penny became lethargic, prompting Maddie to seek veterinary care. What started as a concern over a mass on Penny’s ear led to the discovery of two additional masses inside her neck. After extensive labs and testing, it became clear that Penny needs surgery within the next two weeks to remove the masses and give her the best chance at recovery. The costs for surgery, labs, and ongoing care are significant, we are reaching out for help to ensure Penny gets the treatment she needs and Maddie has the funds to help her best friend! And all of our friends because Penny is the sweetest girl!

Despite her health challenges, Penny remains a fighter and continues to show her loving spirit every day. She’s doing her best to stay positive and bring happiness to those around her.
