Help Penny G. Willis get home....need ramp built

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Joyce Gaskill and I am fund raising for my niece Penny Gray Willis. Penny has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. This cancer is a malignant proliferation of plasma cells in bone marrow causing numerous tumors. This cancer has compromised her bones in several places that includes her back (with 3 compression (pathologic) fractures in her spine, nodules in her lungs and nodules in other bones including a fracture in her arm. Surgery has been done on her arm and a steel rod put in to keep it in place. She has been in hospital almost 3 weeks and after several tests they have chosen a course of chemotherapy and steroids to combat this cancer. The other issues like the spine and fractures cannot be addressed until the cancer treatment is completed. At some point the goal is for her to come home and go back and forth to Raab Clinic for treatment. However, she lives in a mobile home that is elevated around 5 feet off the ground and before she can come home she will need a ramp built. Because of the height of the home, it will have to be built in sections instead of one long ramp. A group of Christian men have volunteered to build steps and the ramp, but due to outrageous cost of building supplies the lumber etc. is going to run between $8,000 and $9,000. This is an extreme financial as well as emotional hardship as she also has 3 foster kids, ages 9, 10 and 13 (which are related) that she and her husband have custody of. He has had to take a leave of absence from work because he is the only person allowed at the hospital with her (due to Covid restrictions). As you can see the obstacles seem to be unsurmountable. However, with family, friends and neighbors pulling together we can make a difference. Please try to donate whatever you can afford....no amount is too small. Please keep this family in your prayers as we know "with God all things are possible!"
Just a little background on her situation. She has been down with her back since last winter and couldn't even get out of the recliner for the past 3 months. She needed medical attention but due to no insurance she couldn't see a Dr. She was finally able to get a plan through the Healthmarket.gov and went for an MRI in August, from there she was immediately hospitalized and her condition has left her where she cannot do anything for herself at this point. Please pray and help any way you can.
