Help Penny Fight Cancer and Reclaim Joy
Spende geschützt
This is Penny.
Right before the pandemic started, we found this sweet girl after her previous owners returned her to the pound, and almost immediately, she became a part of our family. She was the shyest and most gentle girl ever, and for five years, we have shown her all the love and kindness she deserves. She has always been the most friendly dog.
She loved going up to say her hellos anytime someone walked through the door. But gradually over a week, she went from her usual playful self, to a tired and sick girl. Overnight, her face had swelled up suddenly, and we had rushed her to the vet, where we were told the worst news her parents could receive:
Penny has cancer in her lymph nodes. We had originally thought she had some mild stomach discomfort and a bug bite, but this ended up being the scariest news ever for our sweet baby girl.
The immediate vet costs have added up quite quickly, and will continue to do so when we start her cancer treatments. The vets have given us a year left if the treatments go well, so if you can help by donating or sharing this link, please, help us bring comfort back to my sweet girl. Thank you.
