On October 21, 2021, I had the honor of saving sweet Penny the Chihuahua from euthanasia after her family abandoned her at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Debbie immediately stepped up when I posted that I was looking for someone to foster or adopt Penny. Debbie and Penny became instant best friends. For four years, they gave each other unconditional love and companionship.

With immense sadness, Penny's time has come to cross the rainbow bridge and be free of her pain. With this, comes a hefty cost. Penny's vet can provide euthanasia and have her cremated for $315. It would be a dream come true if we could raise enough for in-home euthanasia, so Penny can be comfortable in her own home and not a cold, scary vet office. In-home euthanasia is $750.

Saving animals is a true passion of mine and it breaks my heart when this day comes. Please help me send Penny off with the love and dignity she deserves. Anything is truly appreciated.
