We are Peninsula Robotics FRC Team 6036, a student-run robotics team based in Palo Alto. What makes our team unique is that it is fully led by high school students. Our team is organized into subgroups like build, design, software, and business. Through this, we are not just building a robot. We are learning real-world skills like engineering, teamwork, communication, and leadership. Over the years, we have been fortunate to achieve a lot, including winning multiple regional competitions and ranking among the top teams worldwide in past seasons. Qualifying for the FIRST Robotics World Championship is an incredible milestone for us. After months of hard work, late nights, and intense competitions, we have earned the chance to compete with some of the best robotics teams from around the world. It is more than just another competition. It is a global stage where innovation, creativity, and teamwork are pushed to the highest level. Being able to attend means we can apply everything we have worked on, represent our team and community, and learn from some of the most advanced student engineering projects out there.

The biggest costs for us are travel and lodging. Since Worlds is held out of state, we need to cover transportation as well as hotel rooms for the team. These expenses add up quickly, especially for a student run team like ours. We also have competition related costs, including registration fees and transporting our robot and equipment. On top of that, there are everyday expenses like meals and local transportation during the trip. Every donation helps reduce the financial burden on our team members and their families. Your support makes it possible for more of us to attend, regardless of financial situation, and allows us to focus on competing, learning, and representing our community. Beyond funding a trip, you are investing in students who are passionate about STEM and helping us turn months of effort into real experience on a global stage.

Our journey started in a small garage, where we worked with limited tools but over time, that garage grew into a real lab space, built through dedication, teamwork, and support from our community. That growth means a lot to us. It shows how far we have come and makes qualifying for the FIRST Robotics World Championship even more meaningful. If you’re able, please consider supporting our journey with a donation or by sharing our fundraiser. Every bit of support makes a difference!
