3rd grade team

My name is Laine Porter and I am a Special Education teacher in 3rd grade at Peirce Elementary in Chicago, IL. I am raising funds for our entire school to use Mystery Science.

Mystery Science is an online Science learning program that has lessons of videos, activities, and experiments. Mystery Doug is a long loved character students at our school know. Unfortunately this year, Mystery Science has changed their policy and what used to be a free program for us is now locked behind a school wide membership. We have utilized Mystery Science in 3rd grade the last 4 years and some in the school have used it even longer.

We love Mystery Science because it benefits all of our students and allows students to do hands-on learning and gain real world knowledge. We've made a cloud in a cup, built bridges and tested them with the weight of pennies, and learned how we can guess how fast dinosaurs run based on the length of our strides just to name a few. We love how engaged our students are in Science year after year.

This is all to say, please support the 3rd grade teachers and our entire school to have access to Mystery Science! We appreciate whatever you can support us with!
