Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I was blessed with adopting a beautiful and incredibly well spirited puppy recently.

Right now - I am living every pet owner’s worst nightmare. Last night Peggy was brought to the emergency clinic for vomiting and swelling of her abdomen. The attending veterinarian found a hole in muscular lining of her abdomen, which had allowed her intestines to pass through. To make matters worse a portion of her intestinal tract got stuck, cutting off circulation and causing the affected portion of the intestine to die. She is now having emergency surgery to remove the damaged portion of her intestine and to close the hole in her body wall. With surgery - Peggy is expected to make a full recovery.

While Peggy’s health is priceless and means more to me than anything in the world, the veterinary bills are expected to be up to $10,000, which is a lot more than I have available right now. This is every pet parent’s worse nightmare, and I am graciously asking for your help and support to give this baby the long, healthy life she deserves
