Thank you so much for all of your help so far. Peggy was able to come up with the funds to take care of the funeral costs. This did eat into her daily living expenses, is now behind on bills, and is facing eviction. My heart is heavy as I write this. One of my team members, Peggy, is facing an unimaginable tragedy—her daughter passed away unexpectedly this week, leaving behind three children, ages 17, 15, and 8, who now have to grow up without their mother.

Peggy is one of the hardest-working, kindest people I know. She takes care of others every single day, but now, she’s the one who needs help. Her daughter did not have life insurance, which means Peggy is not only grieving the loss of her child but is also left struggling to cover funeral expenses. No parent should ever have to go through this.

As a hotel general manager, my team is like family. If I could sign the check myself to take this burden off her shoulders, I would. But I can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to anyone who believes in kindness, in community, and in taking care of each other when life feels impossibly unfair.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering the funeral and memorial expenses for Peggy’s daughter. Any additional support will help provide stability for her three grandchildren as they adjust to life without their mom.
