Help Peggy brave the storm

On Monday April 11th the Bakker-Hardisty Family suffered a great and unexpected loss.

In 2018, Kenny Hardisty and Peggy Bakker decided to chase their retirement dreams and purchased Barley Able Farm. Farm life is hard work but it was work the two of them enjoyed together.

Shortly after Kenny was diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney cancer and their retirement dreams turned into a stressful nightmare of tests treatments and a farm that still depended on them.

Kenny's health was finally starting to show some improvement and his spirits were improving when his body decided it had had enough. On Monday April 11th Kenny took his last breath. We all know he is watching over his family and his farm but they need more then a guardian angel right now, they need your help.

Between medical bills, funeral expenses and keeping the farm fed and healthy it has all become overwhelming for Peggy to take on alone. She needs our help keeping the farm afloat while she braves the storm of grief.
