Help PeePaw: surgery funds needed

My name is Po, but my friends call me PeePaw. I enjoy simple things in life; I love to go on car rides with my parents, bask in the sunshine, and get chin scratches!!!

I'm not very active, so it's very easy to get pushed around by other cats, but Mom and Dad have made me my very own feeding station. When treats are being given, they make sure no one else steals mine. I have a strict meal schedule and get fed twice a day.

Last night at 5 pm, I didn’t feel like eating. I didn’t feel very good, so I went to go lay inside a box. I hid from them until 9 pm when they started to get suspicious about me not making my usual appearance.

In the morning, Mom got worried and ended up making the executive decision to bring me to urgent care…

Our son PeePaw had extremely labored breathing this morning, and I immediately knew he needed urgent care. We took him in, and he had low blood oxygen levels. He got an x-ray, and we discovered fluid surrounding his lungs, which was causing him to not be able to expand them. We still don’t know what caused this, but he’s going to need to have a drain tube installed as the fluid will build up again. This all happened within 24 hours and was initially affordable, then quickly racked up within hours. Many tears have been shed as he is our most beloved baby. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us to be able to get one step closer to being able to afford his surgery.
