Hello — several months ago, my grandfather, Mario Galletta, passed away and left us his two cats, Peek-a-boo and Frankie. Peek-a-boo, a shy Snowshoe, has always had chronic respiratory symptoms: sneezing, runny nose, some congestion. It was always a bit concerning to hear her sneeze her head off, but it was never acute or debilitating.
Recently, Frankie and Peek-a-boo both got a random respiratory illness. While Frankie bounced back after a few days, Peek-a-boo's chronic symptoms have been exacerbated to a new debilitating degree. She's now lethargic, wheezing/struggling to breathe through her nose, and scarcely eating.
Unfortunately, this lines up poorly with other financial struggles that have recently cropped up, including necessary oral surgery and inflexible work hours that don't let us give her the attention she needs.
It's hard this holiday season, and we're just looking for help covering vet and medicine costs. Thank you so much if you made it this far.
